In the eighteenth century, the roll of drums announced the arrival of a recruiting officer. Aspiring young men hoped to "measure up" on the sergeant's halberd so that they could enlist in their country's service.
Enlist now in the Friends of Fort Ticonderoga.
- Your membership will bring you the adventure of discovery each time you visit the Fort.
- You will also be promoting history, botany, horticulture, art, music, architecture, land preservation, cultural diversity and scholarship as a learning experience for schoolchildren, families, and all of our visitors.
- Your support will enable new exhibits, education programs, preservation of the collection, buildings, landscape and publications.
