Preservation & Stewardship

Preservation began at Fort Ticonderoga in 1820 when William Ferris Pell purchased the Garrison Grounds and protected the Fort ruins.  Generations of the Pell family and now the Fort Ticonderoga Association continue to preserve and interpret this National Historic Landmark for future generations.
