Preservation & Stewardship:
Our Commitment

The 546-acre Fort Ticonderoga peninsula includes hardwood forests, miles of shoreline, agricultural lands, wetlands, manicured lawns, and thickets. In all, we preserve and maintain about 2,000 acres in New York and Vermont.
Fort Ticonderoga has partnered with the Adirondack Nature Conservancy, Adirondack Land Trust, Vermont Division for Historic Preservation, the Garden Conservancy and others to protect nearby shorelines, vistas and archeologically sensitive areas.
