My Garden Visit

Touring the Gardens
Garden admission is included with your Fort visit. A short walking path leads from the Fort to the serenity of the King's Garden and the Pavilion grounds. Plan at least one hour to experience the "other side" of Fort Ticonderoga.
Features include the one-acre formal flower garden, children's garden, military garden, Three Sisters Garden, apple orchard, gazebo, picnic sites, Pell family cemetery, greenhouse, and sweeping lawns with lake views.

Tours and Programs
Self-guided visits: Daily. Tour the gardens and grounds on your own 10 am – 4 pm.
Garden and Estate Tour (30 minutes): Daily. A guided walking tour of the Pavilion grounds and the King's Garden
An Introduction to the King's Garden (15 minutes): Weekdays July and August.
Natives, Invaders and Pioneers of the Plant Kingdom (45 minutes): Weekdays July and August. Explore the evolving landscape of the peninsula. Proper footwear recommended.
Hands-on Horticulture (12:30 – 2:00): Weekdays July and August. Varied programs that focus on particular plants in the garden and garden design
Weekend Watercolors: Saturdays and Sundays, July and August. Create your own masterpiece using the King's Garden as inspiration.
Family Discovery Box: Daily. Go on a scavenger hunt for mysterious statues in the King's Garden or get your ABCs in the "Alphabet Soup" patch in the children's garden
Tours and programs are offered weather permitting.
