Gardens and Grounds
Gardens have been an important part of the Fort Ticonderoga landscape for centuries.
The King's Garden is an award-winning formal garden, part of the greater estate grounds near Fort Ticonderoga. Additional display gardens featuring vegetables and flowers, including a children's garden, celebrate the beauty and necessity of cultivation.
This domestic landscape is interwoven with military features of the 18th-century battlefield, extending from lakeshore to forested hills above the stone Fort.
